Ex: Imprint Edges on Solid

Create a box 10 x 25 x 1

Top
Draw 2D lines for the roof shape - Red

Bottom
Offset 1 for the interior of the roof, and draw the same shape - Blue

Home tab > Solid Editing panel > Imprint

Select the solid

Select a 2D object to imprint

Input Y for Yes to delete the source object

Continue to select 2D object to imprint

Input Y again to delete the source object

Repeat the same steps to imprint all the 2D lines on the solid

Home tab > Selection panel > Vertex

Hover over the intersection of the 3 lines on the right

Click for the 1st vertex

Repeat the same steps on the left to get another vertex

Hover over the left vertex, the gizmo appear

Click on the Z axis and move up, input 6 for the roof height

Repeat the same steps on the bottom part

Click on the Z axis and move up, input 6 for the interior roof height

The roof is created

Change the visual style to Shaded with Edges
