Edit Solid's Faces

Add or remove materials to or from the object


Extrude Faces

Only planar faces can be extrude


Positive extrusion height adds mass to solid
Negative extrusion height removes mass from solid


Positive taper angle makes new face smaller than old


Negative taper angle makes new face larger than old


Extrude face along path


Extrude multiple faces at the same time



You can extrude the base of a blind hole to get through the solid

Offset Faces

Curved faces can be offset




Move Faces

Often use to move a hole



You cannot move the base of a blind hole (a hole that does not pass through)

Rotate Faces


Change the orientation of multiple faces



You cannot rotate a face that it cause a new cut on the face


Taper Face

Change the orientation of a single face




Orientation angle based on the base point
A positive angle remove mass from solid
A negative angle adds mass to dolid


Delete Faces

Remove fillet, chamfer, hole from solid




You cannot delete a face if the faces cannot be close after delete


Color Faces


Copy Faces

Copy a face to create another 3D feature


Flat face become region
Curved face become surface
