NURBS Surface

This type of surface is based on Bezier corves or splines using fit points and control vertices
Create NURBS surface is similar to creating any other procedural surface (by Extrude, Sweep, Loft)

The different is NURBS surface has fit points and control vertices enable you to edit the surface easily
2 ways to create NURBS surface:
  • Toggle ON the NURBS Creation command before creating the surface by Extrude, Sweep, Loft.
  • Convert the procedural surface to NURBS surface

3D Rotate

3D Rotate let you rotate objects about X, Y, Z axis

3D Align

3D Align enables you to move and rotate objects at the same time in 3D space

3D Scale

3D Scale enables you to scale objects along the plane: XY, XZ, YZ

3D Mirror

3D Mirror enables you to mirror objects about 3D plane

Options

Object
Aligned with the plane of the selected object (Circle, Arc, Polyline)

Last
Use the last defined mirror plane

Z axis
Defined the axis by 2 points
2nd point perpendicular to the plane of 1st point

Vuew
Select a point
Mirror plane is created perpendicular to the view direction and passes through the selected point
