Import 3D model in *.stp, *.ipt formats and create automatic 2D model views
3D Model by AutoCAD
Open the AutoCAD 3D model file
Navigate to the paper space
Delete the viewport
Layout tab > Create View Panel > Base - From Model space
Place the base view at the lower-left corner
Press Enter
Move cursor to the right side for the right projected view
Mover cursor on top for the top projected view
Move cursor to the top-right corner for the isometric projected view
All the 4 views created as wireframe
Import *.stp File
Insert tab > Import panel
Navigate to the location of step file
Select the step file, click Open
Click close
Click the link on the bubble to import
Zoom-Extents if the model don't show
Create Base View and Projected Views
Navigate to paper spaceDelete the viewport
Layout tab > Create View panel > From Model Space
Place the front view at the lower-left corner of the layout
Press Enter, move the cursor to the right for the right projected view
Move the cursor on top for the top projected view
Move cursor to the top-right corner for the isometric projected view
Press Enter to end it
Import Inventor File
Navigate to paper space
Delete the viewport
Delete the viewport
Layout tab > Create View panel > From Inventor
Select the file, click Open
Drawing View Creation tab > Orientation panel > Back
Appearance panel > Scale: 1:2
Press Enter
Select Base only
Place the base view at the lower-left corner
Command end, because you select Base view only
Layout tab > Create View panel > Projected
By default, all views are wireframe
To change the visual style
Layout tab > Modify View panel > Edit View
Select the base view
Appearance panel > Shaded with visible lines
When you edit the parent view, the child views are updated automatically
